Why study music theory?
Key signatures, intervals, transposition...it sounds complicated and boring but it really isn't that bad. Music theory makes playing and reading music much easier. In fact, many students who study theory start to enjoy their music lessons much more. Students with knowledge of basic music rudiments learn technical exercises and music repertoire much faster and more accurately.

Students who study theory stand apart from those who don't.
Students who study and understand music theory can successfully continue their musical studies at the intermediate and advanced levels. They can participate in more group activities (bands, ensembles, orchestras and choirs)

Check out the group class information and sign up for the theory class that best suits you!
